Parker’s Art Collection

“I love Pompeii more than Paris” Herman Melville loved to repeat.

Parker's collection of bronzes are reproductions inspired by the classical statues found in Pompeii and Herculaneum, made by the Chiurazzi Artistic Foundry which has become famous all over Italy since 1870 for the quality of its artworks. The Dancing Satyr, the Lacoonte, the Ephebe and the Three Graces are just a few examples of the bronzes you can meet in the common areas, in a sort of modern Grand Tour, starting from the Grand Hotel Parker’s premises.

Many other artworks are visible all around the Parker’s: paintings and temporary collections hosted in the common areas as well as in the Hotel rooms.
